Here’s a look at some of the gifts our cruisers received. Also, a big thank you to our sponsors!
Kelly Ann and I got together before the Stars at Sea quilting cruise and made some goodies for our cruisers. Here are the beginning of the name tags for their machines (I failed to get a finished tag pic…):
Kelly Ann made a thread catcher for every quilter:
I made pincushions that tie around the bed of the machine:
Again, pic fail on the item in action…
We got things started with these fun “Let’s Dig In” shovels:
We created hand embroidery kits as a cruise memento. I mounted mine on a canvas and trimmed it with ribbon.
There was not enough we could do to express our thanks for the ladies that chose to come spend a week with us in paradise!
I gave everyone a Pocket Portfolio pattern and kit. It was fun to have some alternate projects to work on!
Christine made everyone a monogram tag. Aren’t they cute?
In addition to our gifts, we had a postcard exchange. Here is my postcard:
More postcards on display:
AND if that is not enough – we had AMAZING SPONSORS:
Kelly Ann’s Quilting
Swirly Girls Design
Michael Miller Fabrics
Plum Tree Quilts
Timeless Treasures Fabrics
Free Spirit Fabrics
Marsan won a sewing machine from Janome! DANG! I can’t believe it didn’t get a picture. It was a whirlwind of number calling and prize giving – Michelle stepped in to get pictures for me of most of the winners.
Meagan won the grand prize gift bag from Kelly Ann’s Quilting that had a value over $500!
Gayle won this Patchwork PDQ quilt from Swirly Girls!
Agnes made a haul, winning a YUMMY thread set from Aurifil and Fat Quarter box from Michael Miller!
Our other sponsors donated fat quarter bundles, patterns, needles, kits and more!
A GIANT THANK YOU goes out to all of our sponsors and everyone who was involved in this memorable week!!!
